The Canon EOS R is a high resolution mirrorless camera. We encourage you to try it soon. It uses the 30.3MP sensor from the 5D mark IV, and the new DIGIC 8 image processor to produce some truly impressive images. It has a wide sensitivity range, up to a native ISO of 40000 and a focusing system sensitive down to EV -6, making this an impressive camera to work with in low light situations.
The sensor also features a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system , using 5655 selectable points.
For video, the Canon EOS R has UHD 4K recording capabilities, and uses Movie Digital IS to minimize camera shake.
The camera is designed with a high res 3.69m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and has a rear 3.15" 2.1m-dot LCD touchscreen that swivels.
*This camera is compatible with the Canon R Mount lenses. There is a EF-EOS R Mount adapter designed for attaching any EF or EF-S mount lens to the EOS R camera.
