The Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 is an ultra-wide fisheye lens with a 12mm focal length on full frame (FX) cameras, and an 18mm equivalency when on APS-C (DX) format cameras. This lens is useful for landscapes, interiors and creative applications. The f/2.8 aperture is especially useful in low light situations. It prevents aberrations and ghosting by using a low dispersion lens glass and aspherical lens elements. At the fully opened position it produces a high resolution and contrast.
This is a manual focus lens, but this is almost insignificant because the depth of field can be huge. It's possible to have everything from 3ft to infinity to be in focus at the same time. It fills the full frame on an FX camera so you don't get black around the circle image.
