The Sigma 135mm is a part of the Sigma ART family of lenses.
This is an ideal lens for portraiture and sports, the 1.8 aperture and 9
diaphragm blades make for a shallow depth of field and a beautiful, smooth
bokeh.
Sigma has integrated a Hyper Sonic Motor for quick and quiet
autofocusing, which is complemented by an optimized AF algorithm to produce
smoother focusing performance. The HSM allows for full-time manual focus over
ride and control by rotating the focus ring at any time.
The lens is built using a Thermally Stable Composite material, along with
traditional metals, for greater precision when you are using it in wide
temperature variations. It is also rubber sealed in the mount, so it is dust-
and splash-resistant.
