This is the FX version of Nikon's fisheye lenses. The image with this lens on an FX camera is very similar to the 10.5mm fisheye on a DX camera. This lens provides a 180 degree angle of view. We like to use it for interiors, broad outdoor subjects and for candid shots at parties or receptions. Get creative with new perspectives. It works well in poorly lit situations because it has the fast 2.8 aperture and is sharp edge to edge. A super compact lens with great versatility.
Caution: This lens' autofocus function is compatible with Nikon DSLRs featuring a built-in autofocus motor.
It will not support auto focusing when used with DSLRs that do not have an integrated focus motor such as the D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300.
