7.5' Microphone boom pole
A boom pole is used to hold a microphone near the scene so sound can be captured. This lightweight model, made of carbon fiber, telescopes from 2.2' to 7.5'. It has twist locks that enable each section to be adjusted and locked as desired. It is often used for ENG (Electronic New Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Production), interviews, documentaries, and studio work. It has a standard 3/8" screw thread for attaching a microphone and is compatible with the Rode VideoMic Pro shotgun mic. A 25' microphone extension cable is included which can be plugged directly into Nikon and Canon dslr cameras.
